telangana special vegetarian pachi pulusu recipe
Pachchi pulusu is a popular traditional delicacy. The word Pachchi in Telugu means raw and pulusu is a tangy soup. This dish is actually a raw rasam and does not need any cooking except for the tempering. It has an amazing blend of all three tastes like tanginess from the tamarind, spiciness from dry red chillies and sweetness and crispness from the raw onions.

It’s very simple to prepare and hardly takes about 10 minutes to put it together. There are many ways of making the pachchi pulusu or the raw rasam such as Vankaya pachchi pulusu, Pachi mamidikaya Pappu charu Raw mango rasam etc. This classic dish is made with simple ingredients like the diluted tamarind juice/ pulp, jaggery, salt to taste, chopped onions, green chillies and spices to impart an aromatic stew. The sweetness of jaggery balances out the tangy flavor of tamarind and the spice of green chillis while the addition of curry leaves along with tempering intensifies the flavor. Biting into crunchy raw onions and savoring the sweet-tangy smoky flavor of this earthy colored pulusu with rice, is heaven on earth.

It can be had with rice or by itself as a soup or rasam. The raw rasam tastes awesome with hot rice and mudda pappu or plain cooked dal. It also goes very well with pulagam or kandi pachadi and rice. This is a recipe I love for its utter simplicity and not to mention, as it is completely addictive!

Pachi pulusu is something that can be made in jiffy as it does not require any cooking process. It is made up of diluted tamarind pulp with finely chopped onions and green chillies and adjusted the sourness of tamarind by adding equal quantity of jaggery and some salt to taste. This dish is usually prepare when you run out of time or really need some zing to your taste buds. To make the dish yummier, roasted sesame powder is added that really enhances the taste of the raw rasam. This is a complete balanced flavorful stew which tickles your tongue with its unique taste. Try it to enjoy the flavors of it.

Pachi Pulusu is a traditional Telangana recipe usually prepared often during summers to beat the heat as it was said by the Great Grandma that by having this raw rasam it cools down the body temperature and keeps you refreshing and soothing.

For preparing this simple raw rasam, soak tamarind in water for 20 mins then squeeze the juice in a bowl and keep aside. Roast green chillies on the flame till it changes it color. Crush the green chillies with your hand add chopped onions and salt to it. Add mashed green chillies, chopped onions and salt to the tamarind juice. For tempering take a pan add oil, mustard and cumin seeds. When they crackle add whole dry red chillies, curry leaves and once it is done add the mixture to the tamarind juice. Lastly garnish with coriander leaves, sesame powder and sugar if required. This raw rasam needs no boil or cooking and is a perfect dish during hot summer days.

sakuni 2012 latest telugu movie cast release date music director review by critics

Sakuni movie sakuni telugu latest movie karthi in sakuni, sakuni movie review pranitha in sakuni movie Sakuni movie review by critics about sakuni movie brief story of sakuni movie Sakuni movie music by GV Prakash

Karthi has become a familiar name among the Telugu audiences with the success of some of his dubbed movies in Telugu. In order to cash in on his popularity and fan following, the producers started making films in bilinguals. His latest movie Sakuni is one such attempt. The film has many Telugu artistes like Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Radhika, Roja, Pranitha and others. When it comes to the story....

Kamal Krishna (Karthi) is a normal middle class guy and he wants to save his house in Samalkot as the government is planning to construct a railway sub-way. In a bid to save it, he meets Chief Minister Bhupati (Prakash Raj), but he is insulted by him. To teach him a lesson, Kamal supports opposition leader Perumal (Kota Srinivasa Rao). What kind of steps Kamal takes to teach a lesson to Bhupati? Will he be able to save his ancestral house? Answers to these questions are to be seen on the screen.

Performance: In శకుని Karthi steals the show with his wonderful performance. He has taken whole responsibility of running the show on his shoulder. Pranitha has no much scope except to shake legs with the hero. Santhanam tickles the funny bones of audiences. Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Roja, Radhika, Anushka, Andrea, Kiran Rathod have also done justice to their respective roles.

Technical: PH Muttaiah's cinematography is bright and average, while Srikar Prasad's editing is very dull. GV Prakash Kumar's music is below the par and none of the songs are impressive and foot-tapping. Even the background score is very dull and the poor re-recording fails to elevate the scenes.

The director has chosen an excellent storyline with political backdrop, but has failed to narrate it properly. All the scenes are bits and pieces as he has chosen a novel way to narrate in the form of flashbacks. The entire film looks very dull due to unimpressive screenplay. He has also failed to tap the energies of Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Nazar, Radhika and Karthi. Roja's character is wasted.

All the dialogues in the film had the Tamil scent and lacked local touch. The production values of Bellamkonda are good. The entire first half of the film is devoted to narration of silly points in the form of flashbacks. Second half takes fast pace for some time, but the director lose grip on the subject again.

Remarks: Watch the film if you are a hardcore fan of Karthi. Otherwise, you can wait for the DVD as the film is not that exciting and interesting to watch by going to the theatre. The commercial success of the film depends on how could Karthi pulls audiences to the theatre.

Cast: Karthi, Pranitha, Prakash Raj, Chandramohan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Santhanam, Nazar, Radhika, Roja, Kiran Rathod and others.

Credits: Cinematography - PH Muttaiah; Editing - Srikar Prasad; Music - GV Prakash Kumar; Presenter - Bellamkonda Suresh; Producer - Gnanavel Raja; Story, screenplay and direction - Shankar Dayal.
